Real-time protection is off only while you install, and Smart App Control is off if it blocks RealSetup.exe.
Cloudflare One Client is connected in Private browsing with Traffic and DNS (UDP) before RealSetup.exe runs.
The installer was downloaded again from projectreal.gg after Cloudflare One Client was connected.
Troubleshooting
If Real shows Installation failed and says it could not establish a secure connection, the installer is usually being blocked by your router, ISP, antivirus, or a filtered network path. Start fresh instead of pressing the same installer again.
Open Windows Security. Turn off real-time protection for the installation. Then open Smart App Control and turn it off if Windows blocks RealSetup.exe. Turn protection back on after Real opens successfully.
Delete old RealSetup files from Downloads. Open the official Download Real page and download a fresh RealSetup.exe. Do not reuse a setup file that already failed.
If the browser blocks the file, open Downloads from the browser menu or press Ctrl + J. Choose keep, allow, or Download unverified file only for the RealSetup.exe file from projectreal.gg.
Download Cloudflare One Client and run the setup. When it asks for a use case, choose Private browsing. This prepares a clean network path before the installer contacts Real services.
Select Traffic and DNS (UDP), then press Connect. Wait until Cloudflare One Client shows Connected. Keep it connected while you run RealSetup.exe.
Open the fresh RealSetup.exe after Cloudflare One Client is connected. If Windows shows a warning, choose run anyway only for the official file. Press the blue Download button and wait until Real opens.
