Temporarily disable Microsoft Defender real-time protection before starting RealSetup.exe.
Temporarily disable Smart App Control if Windows Security blocks the installer.
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 x64, .NET 8 Desktop Runtime, and Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime are required to run and use Real.

Open Windows Security first. Go to Virus and threat protection and turn off real-time protection for the installation. Then open App and browser control, go to Smart App Control, and switch it off if it blocks RealSetup. You can turn these settings back on after Real opens.
Open Download Real. Free users must complete the Work.ink or LootLabs ad steps first. At the end you receive RealSetup.exe. If the file name has extra random letters or numbers after RealSetup, that is normal and comes from our protected single-use download flow.
After the download starts, your browser may block RealSetup.exe. Open the browser download history from the menu, or press Ctrl + J, then choose keep, allow, or Download unverified file for the file from projectreal.gg.
Start RealSetup.exe. If Windows shows a warning when you open the setup file, choose run anyway only for the RealSetup file you downloaded from projectreal.gg. When the installer opens, press the blue Download button and wait until Real opens automatically.
After Real has opened successfully, turn Microsoft Defender real-time protection and Smart App Control back on. If setup fails after pressing Download, follow the Installation failed troubleshooting article instead of repeating the same setup file.
