01Check your version
Open Real and look at Real Version on the Home tab. Then open Release Notes in the documentation and compare it with the newest version shown there.

Real must be fully closed from the system tray before you open it again.
Use Release Notes to confirm what the newest public version is.
Do not close the updater while it says Updating Real.

02Close Real completely
If Real is only closed to the system tray, opening it again only brings the current app window back. Open the tray menu, right click Real, and choose Quit before updating.
03Open Real normally
After Real is fully closed, open Real from Windows search or your shortcut. The updater runs before the app opens. Keep the updater window open until it finishes.
