01Start Real MCP
Open Real -> Settings -> Connections. In the Real MCP card, press Start. Keep Real open while you use the connector.

Before you start
Real is installed, you are signed in, and the AI client you want to use is already installed.
For in-game tools, Roblox is launched from Real, injected, and inside a game.
The AI client was restarted or opened as a new session after setup.

02Connect your AI client
Install the AI client you want to use first. When Real MCP shows Running, press Set up next to the client Real detects. Real supports Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, Grok, Antigravity, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, LM Studio, OpenClaw, and ZCode. Restart that AI client or open a new session so it loads the MCP configuration.
03Inject and enter a game
Most Real MCP tools need Roblox to be launched from Real, injected, and inside a game. Diagnostics, files, search API, open script, and launch Roblox can work with Real alone.
04Check the connection
Ask your AI client if it is connected to the Real MCP connector. A working setup can ping the server and show details about the injected client.
